When did she acquire this skill...? Kyura had it for as long as she can remember (which isn't long, given her circumstance). She only wishes she could explain her adept accuracy, which stunned her while acquiring food, and her daring finesse, which surfaced when fighting off dangerous beings.Unfortunately, nerve born of these elations quickly evaporated when Qiqirns horribly lacerated her leg. Her saving grace was her proximity to the hamlet of Buscarron's Druthers. A Wood Wailers patrol discovered her in the midst of the attack and ferried her to the hamlet for healing. "I...I can't remember. I wished it weren't true..."

She sailed north on a short-keeler to arrive in Eorzea. Her... well, someone first built it to...make it up and down a river? Or was it to avoid the deep waters around some distant shores? Her memory lay closed since a few hours ago. Or was it longer than that...? A waning image surfaced within her mind of... special someones... saying this may happen.Sadness accompanied Kyura during the rest of her voyage northward across the Sea of Ash. Only the spanning view of ocean waters and the ever-changing sky above entertained her senses for weeks, until she spotted the shores of Paglth'an and the island of Mazlaya. However, with cliffs and rapids bordering both, she continued sailing north until she arrived at the calmer banks along the Hathoeva River. She steered the keeler ashore and stepped onto foreign soil for the first time.Another continent, at last. She did it! She made the trip on her own—though, the keeler took a heavy beating. The wood had thinned in places and snapped in others, but altogether, it held through until Kyura had lowered its sail for the last time. If only... if only she could remember who she wished to have come with her...
